An exciting day...

Eight of the children placed into an advanced elementary school in neighboring La Paz. It was a rare and joyous occasion for the community and Fortalecer is proud to provide school uniforms which the families could otherwise not afford. Words of gratitude and inspiration were spoken by both the Project leaders of Fortalecer and women of the camp.

The students were visibly proud. It is a true accomlishment and a big step toward leaving a cycle of migrant work.

Congratulations to all. Keep up the good work!

Fun with the kids!

Each week, teams of Fortalecer volunteers visit the migrant worker camps in and around Todos Santos, BCS. Mexico.

Each weekly visit is a center based program encompassing art, music, science, and creative play. This little girl has no trouble creating a new use for the plastic box!

Puzzles and other spacial manipulations are brought each week for the children to engage themselves and each other!
